He Saw Cinders - a song written and recorded by llamarama, a band I played in, a while back.
Connections - another song off the same llamarama album.
Below are an assortment of pictures from the last part of our trip. We made it back safely today (1/28/07), and we're a bit jetlagged. More later!

Darn! I was unfortunately not able to go inside the palace in Monaco in my Speedo.
Dad and kids. In the background is a statue of François Grimaldi, the guy who breached the fortified village of Monaco dressed as a Monk. His family took control of Monaco in the 13th century and, amazingly, is still in control today.
Monaco from a distance
View from above of Vernazza, a quiet town in Italy's Cinque Terre. Taken at the beginning of a hike to Corniglia, a nearby village. Cinque Terre is probably the most beautiful place on earth.
The bottom of miniature, one-person "train" (think "motor+seat+basket") used by farmers to transport tools and produce up the steep terrain in Cinque Terre. What's hard to fully appreciate from the picture is the *incredible* path that these trains take down and around the mountainous terrain.
Shirley and Teddy standing at the mid section (there's another tier of arches below) at Pont Du Gard, a massive Roman Aquaduct.
